The grave of Morris Burton Love (1907-1909) is visible in the foreground, and the photo's caption read "Morris' grave." Love died on April 19, 1909, after accidentally ingesting his father's medicines. In the upper-left corner, the Rucker Mausoleum is visibly under construction, and partially obstructed by the Amos Gunn monument (1907). On the Rucker Mausoleum at this time, there were not yet doors or stone plinth, and the entrance capstone had to be installed. What appears to be a contractors' work shed sits east of the mausoleum, partially blocked by a wrapped tree trunk. The light colored stone on the right is the Maggie Smith monument (1903).
