Description	City of Everett Police Chaplain Rev. Donald Miller, a pastor at the Trinity Episcopal Church and chaplain with the Everett Police "God Squad. On September 6, 1973, Mayor Bob Anderson and Everett Police Chief Ed Sylte announced the creation of a Police Department Chaplain Bureau during an Everett Ministerial Association Luncheon. Known unofficially as "the God Squad" the program recruited ten chaplains from different faiths to assist police and the public "during times of severe stress." On-call chaplains were identified with uniforms that clearly identified them as clergy.
