Notes	Elof Norman (1894 - 1980) arrived with his Danish immigrant family as a kid, living first in the mining town of Monte Cristo and later in Everett. He worked in Snohomish County shingle mills and was employed at the fish cannery in Everett on the day of the Massacre. His recollections of that day are part of the library's collection. Elof later authored a book recalling his childhood days at Monte Cristo, The Coffee Chased Us Up.
