The
Maltby
Congregational
Church
was
organized
in
1903
and
building
construction
started
the
following
year
.
It
has
operated
continuously
and has
always
been a
very
visible
landmark
in the
community
.
It
was
originally
constructed
parallel
with
Maltby
Road
and
moved
to its
present
site
in
1933
. In
1979
, a
20
foot
addition
was
completed
added
to the
front
.
Over
the
last
ten
years
, a
basement
and
modern
materials
have been
added
to
protect
the
original
structure
.
