Water Filtration Plant
Water Filtration Plant
TitleWater Filtration Plant
DescriptionJack Coontz water testing at the Water Filtration Plant. Everetts Drinking Water Filtration Plant is located adjacent to the Chaplain Reservoir. Rain and snowmelt from the Sultan Basin are collected in the Spada Reservoir and eventually reach the Chaplain Reservoir for treatment. Large transmission lines carry the water from the Water Filtration Plant to Everett. The plant is located at a higher elevation than Everett so the water flows downhill in the transmission lines and builds up pressure along the way.
