DescriptionDave Mundell adjusts equipment at Panther Creek. Mundell was an employee of the city's Water Department. Prior to the construction of the Water Filtration Plant in 1983, screening and chlorination of the water delivered to north Everett was provided at the Panther Creek Screenhouse, located approximately 12 miles east of Everett. Once the filtration plant was placed in service, screening of the domestic water supply was discontinued. Screening and chlorination of industrial water at Panther Creek was discontinued in 1988. All chlorination is now provided at the Water Filtration Plant.
